Summary
From a small space to a 9,000-square-foot flagship, Alliance Jiu-Jitsu Charlotte represents Lucas Lepri's vision of a world-class academy. After 11 years in Charlotte and teaching 800 seminars across 52 countries, the nine-time world champion opened this new headquarters in October 2024 with 4,000 square feet of mat space, premium locker rooms, and every detail he'd visualized for years.
But Lepri is most proud of the culture: veteran students welcoming newcomers, kids gaining confidence to stand up to bullies, adults battling depression finding community. His journey from capoeira in Brazil to Alliance New York City to Charlotte shows that success comes from sticking with your passion when others doubt you and maintaining a white belt mentality forever.
