Do I need a separate email tool like Mailchimp?

No. Email is built in and runs on your live member data, so there’s nothing to export or sync. If you’d rather keep your existing stack, you can still sync members and leads to ActiveCampaign or trigger email workflows through Zapier.

Can I choose exactly who receives an email?

Yes. Target by membership, status, join date, program, rank, tags, or custom fields, then send only to that segment. The list builds itself from your live member data, and anyone who’s opted out is excluded automatically.

Can I send from my own domain and use my branding?

Yes. Personalize each message with the member’s name, send under your gym’s colors and logo, and use a verified custom sending domain so emails land in the inbox as you — not as a third party. Open tracking is included.

What’s the difference between Messaging, Email Settings, and Automations?
